B2 Core Program · Upper-Intermediate French
Résonance : l'art de penser
Let Art Speak for What Is Hard to Say
We can be surrounded by people and still feel alone; sometimes only after failure do we discover a direction of our own. This course uses writers, musicians, painters, clowns, and animated stories as both starting points for thought and mirrors for personal questions. Compare French and Japanese understandings of solitude, enter the world of hikikomori, and use the stories of Canuito Junior, Cassidy Toner, and Alexandra Kruzfeldt to rethink failure, perfection, resilience, and success.

Course Content
Four themes, from artistic thinking to self-understanding
